Support
Connectoo is a small product: match, talk, skip. Most issues are the mic, the browser blocking sound, or nobody else being online. Try the steps below before you assume the app is down.
Quick fixes
Microphone is blocked
The browser must allow the mic or you cannot talk. Look for the padlock or camera icon in the address bar, set microphone to Allow, then reload and tap Start talking again.
I matched but I hear nothing
Some browsers block autoplay. If you see a note about sound being blocked, tap the speaker button on the control bar. Also check system volume, that you are not muted, and that another tab is not holding the mic.
Stuck on “looking for someone”
Matching needs a second person. Wait a bit, keep the tab in the foreground, or try again later. Two windows on the same device can be used to test locally.
Call dropped after refresh
A short reconnect window can restore the same match. If you wait too long, both people go back to the queue. Start talking again.
Skip vs leave
Skip finds a new person. Leave ends your session. If controls are stuck, close the tab — that also takes you out of the room.

What is Connectoo?
Connectoo is a free random voice chat for talking to strangers online. You are matched with one person, you talk by voice, you can type in the same room, and you skip or leave whenever you want. There is no camera, no account, and no profile.
Is Connectoo an Omegle alternative?
Yes, if you liked meeting a random stranger and skipping when it was done. Omegle shut down in 2023. Connectoo keeps the instant match and skip, with voice and live chat. There is no webcam, so it is not video roulette like Omegle or OmeTV.
Is this like OmeTV or Chatroulette?
No. OmeTV and Chatroulette are random video chat. Connectoo is voice plus live text, with no camera. They never see your face or your room. You can still skip to the next person in one tap.
Can they see me?
No. There is no camera. They only hear you, so check what is audible in the background before you start.
Do I need an account?
No. Confirm you are 18 or older, allow the microphone, and tap Start talking. No email, username, or download.
Do I have to be 18?
Yes. You confirm you are 18 or older before you can start talking.
Is Connectoo free?
Yes. Matching, voice, live chat, skip, and leave are free. There is nothing to install.
Is the connection secure?
Voice is encrypted between the two browsers (WebRTC) and does not go through our servers. Live chat is only for that match and is deleted when you skip or leave. We still cannot control what the other person does, so do not share personal details.
Which browsers work?
Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and other current Chromium browsers on desktop and phone. On iPhone, Safari works; Chrome on iOS does too. You need a microphone and an https connection. Very old browsers, and in-app browsers that block the mic, will not work.
Do you save the chat or the call?
We do not record calls. Voice is encrypted peer to peer, so audio does not pass through our servers. When you skip or leave, the text messages in that room are gone. Still do not send your number or address.
